A Brief Biography of Pastor Jim Austin, Senior Pastor

Jim Austin was born October 29, 1954 in Springfield, IL. Pastor Jim was raised in a Christian home, and enjoyed attending church as a youngster and a teenager. He started singing at the age of four, and throughout the years as a young person and later as an adult was involved in different singing groups. Pastor Jim accepted the call of God to preach at the age of 26.

Pastor Jim is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God headquartered in Cleveland, Tn. He and his wife Terri, have pastored several churches in Illinois, and currently serve as Lead Pastor of Heartland Worship Center COG in Springfield, IL.

Pastor and First Lady have 2 sons, Brent and Jeremy, which along with their wives, are active members in ministry of Heartland Worship Center.
